Well that depends on what you want – but both are great choices regardless. The CB300F has an MSRP of $4,349 for the base model, while the CBR300R has an MSRP of $4,699 for the base model. #01. The Honda CRF250L Rally. Now for a genuine 250cc motorcycle from Honda: the CRF250L Rally.
All summer I’ve been looking into buying my first bike and did a TON of research and ultimately decided that the Honda Shadow 750 seems like an overall great option for its price, reliability, and looks. But I’m also considering a Honda Rebel 250 since it is a little smaller and less intimidating.. 6-speed gearbox, good for getting the most power out of a small engine, if needed. Honda CBR250 Cons. It's faired. As a learner, you're gonna drop it at some point. Replacing fairing is very expensive and looks terrible if you don't replace them. From my experience, very expensive for a beginner bike.ok, if the starter jumped off the bike and spun like a top, that is a problem. kidding. sounds like we have the following problems possibly: 1. Bad battery or bad connection to good battery. 2. Starter clutch issues, maybe worn out, maybe wet with oil. 2a. If there is oil on the starter clutch, other issues.
Kick start project for 87 Rebel 250. This is a "just for fun" project to add a kick start to my Rebel. It seems that some 87's have a right side cover that is without the vestigial kick start "nub" that the other Rebels all seem to have. Sure enough, mine is one of those nub-less editions.
The rebel is an outstanding bike for around town use and will do the highway for short trips. It is much lighter than the Vulcan. Most likely you'll ride one in your MSF course, or maybe the Suzuki 250 because they are great for a rider with no experience. The Vulcan is noticably bigger, as is the seat height.
