The only difference between the two is that ultimate edition will additionally contain some weapons/vehicle skins (only cosmetic differences) I would suggest just buy the standard edition for now. Shao Khan is in the ultimate edition if you buy the disc/digital version Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. Like many said, MKX and MK9 (aka MK2011, MK komplete collection) are 2 different games. I'd say though, that both are worth getting- MK9 for classic characters and also prequel story to MKX (its basically 3 first MK games story retold and changed a bit to suit purpose of given story) and MKX.. well, not sure why at moment at least, but looks are awesome.
MK11 premium edition disappeared from the stor when aftermath released and if you bought base edition you got upgrade option, if you bought premium you got nothing. #7 itzDerrio
