I found the solution, what you have to do is enter the folder where the steam games are and copy the one that says Jedi Fallen Order, then look for the folder that says EA Games and paste the Fallen Order folder, it worked for me and it gave me all the achievements that I had pending, I hope it works for you.

I don't think the maps were quite big enough to necessitate a fast travel system, in fact, I think that might even detract from the game.
