Ihave a 2004 Westminster, Java Black. Many years ago I went looking for a new car and tried a Land Rover Discovery and also test drove a new Range Rover. After that I knew that a Range Rover is the car for me. I couldn't afford a RR then and had to wait until I could by the used 2004 Westminster. And yes, it has a lot of, uhm, issues.

Depends on age mate the 2014 onwards l494 3.0 diesel has belts. i see you are US so you may be looking at petrol (gas) engine. thetiming chain stretching + failure was mostly on the previous gen RRS (L320), I haven't seen any reports on the L494. Ihave a 2014 Range Rover Fullsize Supercharged. When I retract the sun blind all the way back the mechanism that takes in/winds up the the fabric stops; however the motor that pulls the blind back continues until the proper stop point.
